Confused about report

Asked for Male, 20 Years

Went for a routine blood check and hba1c was 6. Then the doctor did the hb1ac after 20 days and it was 5.5. which report to believe?? I heard that it takes 3 months for hba1c to show changes. Am I pre-diabetic??

HbA1C can have variation in reports. It also changes daily. It gives average estimation of last 3 months. If u control on diet and do exercise it can come down a little even in 15 days
