Concieved after 60 daysof missed period

Asked for Female, 29 Years

Hi, my last menstural period was on 19th January 2018 but I din get periods until April. I had upt at home every 10 days starting from March 1st but all came negative. But on April 14th 2018 I did upt again n it was positive..I got my beta hcg done n the level are 12692.. the question is why did I tested positive so late. Does it have any affect on the development of the baby?
