CONCERNED ABOUT SGPT AND SGOT results
2 days back i had my regular health check up. In that my SGOT level was 36.2 and my SGPT level was 67.5. I can see these levels are high above normal. Please suggest what i should do. I am a diabetic and my hba1c was 8.2

Its common nowdays everyday we encounter patient in opd with regular health checkup having a little higher value than normal for sgot and sgpt Nothing to worry unless its three times higher than the normal value.

but its good to take care of your liver take less fatty meals and exercise regularly avoid smoking and alcohol.

Get ultrasound upper abdomen to look for fatty liver,check once HbsAg and Anti HCV test,plan fibroscan of liver. Adopt life style modification measures
