Dear doctor,
My daughter is 2 months old. When light from mobile's torch is focused on her eyes, she blinks her eyes. Also, when we took her out during the day,she closed her eyes in bright sunlight. She does not seem to focus much on faces at present but I saw that at times she tracks objects. Is my daughter's vision normal?
I am extremely concerned for her.

Ideally every baby should be examined once during the first month by an eye specialist to rule out congenital problems like cataract. So go for a routine check up. Normally babies fixate at a point, using both eyes at around 3 months of age. So, on the basis of what you've said, there is no need to worry
