My wife and I recently got married, and we've noticed an issue that we'd like some advice on. During intimacy, particularly when she becomes aroused, there is a noticeable unpleasant odor from her vaginal secretions. It is strong enough to affect our comfort during sexual activity.
We are unsure whether this falls within the normal range of vaginal odor or if it could indicate an infection, imbalance, or another medical condition. She does not currently have significant pain, itching, or other symptoms (if applicable).
Could you please advise whether this warrants a gynecological examination or any specific tests?
Thank you.
