I had to have two of my molars filled. The dentist said she put a composite resin filling on the first tooth. But she used only a composite filling on the second one as it was "soft."
What does this mean? Also, what is the difference between composite and composite resin fillings?

Probably one of your tooth be having a deeper decay. So the dentist decided to put a temporary or an intermediate restoration.
