Hello, There’s no guarantee as such when it comes to composite filling. For some people it last’s comparatively longer for instance 10-15 years, however for the rest just a couple of days. The key is on how you maintain your oral hygiene on the first place and secondly on how much tooth structure is left after a decay. In case there’s very less if the tooth structure remaining, you can support it via Dental Crowns as well.

Hello sir,          Hope you are doing good. Composite filling may stay longer and its completely depending on your maintenance. It ll not wear out though it stays long. But it can slightly change colour as we eat and consume foods. You can go for other composite filling if colour changes. Until that the composite filling is the best one.

Hello, composite filling can last for long duration depending upon the size and position of cavity.Life of composite filling depends on how much tooth structure is left to support it.However if damage to tooth is large better go for dental crown/cap.
Next Steps
Get a x ray done before proceeding to determine amount of tooth structure left.
