Colour of blood during periods & PCOS
Hi I am married since 4 years and my weight is 73 kgs at present. My periods were irregular since beginning n after 3 yrs of marriage I used to get spotting instead of proper periods so I consulted my doctor & after ultrasound I got to know that I have PCOS & also been prescribed with oral contraceptive pills to get regular periods & metformin 500mg to maintain fertility. So I get regular periods now because of OCP but the colour of the blood is usually black, brown or red, it changes at times. Do I have to worry about the colour? Is it normal? Pls give me additional suggestions to improve my health problem and maintain fertility for long? Thank you

As you have mentioned in your case regarding history of PCOS.. i would like to tell you that black blood during periods signifies that there is delay in expelling the blood which causes the color change.. also it might b a sign of infection
