Rectal perforation what doctors said. colostomy done. they said they will reverse it after 3 weeks. that accident was unbelievable my life changed
please tell i will be fine. they said it will take time of 3 month

diversion colostomy is the temporary measure to let heal of the distal part. . now only thing you can do to help your surgeon is to give them your baseline health..stay positive ..take proper nutrition proteins ..maitain hydration. . take anti septic prequation .. timely change of colostomy bag ... sphincter tone exercises. ..physiotherapy. . This ll give your doctor a healthy tissue to work on ... tc

Ofcourse you will be fine. It's the time given to the internal organs to heal properly so that it can be anastomosed later on. Be patient, time is great healer you know....
