It could be a problem related to your shoulder or the pain could also be due to cervical spine involvement. Please visit the nearest ortho surgeon who can examine and arrive at a diagnosis.

There isn't sufficient information to reach a specific diagnosis, but there's a possibility it could be due to trauma to the collar bone that may have caused a fracture or cervical spondylitis causing a referred pain. Ideally you should visit an orthopedician so that you can be examined and undergo investigations such as X-Ray, MRI(if indicated),etc to find the underlying cause and have it treated accordingly. You will require a painkiller, an antacid and a topical painkiller. These following steps may help: - Apply ice over the area initially to reduce an swelling that is present 3-4 times a day - Apply heat over the area with a hot water bag or a hot towel so that the muscles will be relaxed and then you can apply a topical analgesic over the area and massage it gently - Do not carry any heavy weights until the pain resolves If the pain persists or worsens visit the orthopedician at the earliest.
