Colic baby
I have taken my 2.5 month old daughter to many paediatricians however she continues to suffer extreme gas. She keeps crying inconsolably for his together, mostly at night. We are giving her colic aid drops and apply hing paste but these too fail. She takes a dump on alternate days. It's extremely frustrating to just see your child cry for hours together helplessly. Request if someone can advice a solution.

Hi, This is just common sense approach: not expert opinion! 1st, if baby breast feed, ensure u burp well & can hear the sound of eructation of swallowed air. Burping has to be done when baby awake (or else wake baby up), & also offer areola plus nipple while feeding (not areola alone) If bottle fed, use peristaltic nipple, as it has special mechanism to prevent air being swallowed along with milk & keep bottle upright so that air doesn't fill the nipple! Using anti-frothing agents/Simethicone will help. Also, for 45minutes after feed, keep baby tilted to right lateral side, under supervision.
Next Steps
If poor response, always review personally with mother's gynecologist or baby pediatrician at earliest, as crying spells can become a habit

First : while feeding baby should be hold in one arm with head resting over elbow joint & body of baby resting over arm & buttock supported by palm. After starting feeding The other palm, thumb should be dip in the baby palm. When ever baby stop feeding pressure is maintain over baby palm, so that baby do not sleep & suck breast properly & for 15to20 mintues. After The baby stop sucking second :Transfer The baby to left shoulder & pat over back of stomach for 5 mintues till he burp 4to5 times. If this air passes out there are no chances of colic after 6pm in The evening. This burping should be done after every feed. Third :after burping lay the baby on her right hand side with head over pillow so that head is above level of stomach. Try
