Hello Shamili, I'm Dr. Nikhil Aggarwal. I'm sorry to hear that you're suffering from a cold. It's common to experience congestion and difficulty breathing when you have a cold, and the presence of yellow mucus may indicate that your body is fighting off an infection.
Regarding your question, both Sinarest and Cetrizine are commonly used to treat cold symptoms, but they work in different ways. Sinarest contains a combination of paracetamol, phenylephrine, and chlorpheniramine, which can help relieve pain, reduce fever, and alleviate congestion. Cetrizine, on the other hand, is an antihistamine that can help reduce inflammation and relieve symptoms such as sneezing and runny nose.
It's important to note that these medications should only be used as directed and for a limited period of time. If your symptoms persist or worsen, it's important to see a healthcare provider for further evaluation and treatment. Additionally, it's important to stay hydrated, get plenty of rest, and practice good hygiene to help your body fight off the infection.
