Cold, Runny Nose and Chest Congestion
Hi, Baby Boy - 2 years 2 months old Weight - 10.8 Kg Having a cold, runny nose for the last 2-3 days. Also have vomited 3 times in 2 days. I have visited the doctor today he has chest Congestion also. The doctor has suggested: Asthalin 2.5 ml 3 times Alex Junior 5 ml 3 times Ondem 2.5 ml 3 times Omnacortil 5 ml 3 times Levolin 0.31 4 times 6 hourly Monocef o 100 2.5 ml 2 times Nutrolin B 2.5 ml 1 time

You don’t give any previous history of cough and cold with chest congestion - how frequently he had those symptoms- in acute attack- may need oral steroid- that should be started within 48 hrs to get result- repeated attacks inhalation bronchodilator +_ inhalation steroid and Motelucast according to frequency of attacks and you should consult for influenza vaccination-
