Cold n cough
Doctor, from 2 days i have scratchy throat then cough started with phlegm coming out from throat. Nose is getting blocked with mucus.. Due to nasal block getting less smell. Nothing apart from this. Is this cold flu?? As i already suffered covid on September 2020. And the symptoms that time were different. I am on my 7th month after covid. So was feeling scared. That it is cold flu or something else??? Please response doctor as i am feeling very scared.

Most likely This is flu with superimposed bacterial sinusitis, no need to be scared relax, take tablet augmentin 625 mg twice daily and saline nasal drops 2 drops 4 times a day in each nostril, and do salt water gurgles. U will be alrt

Unlikely to be Covid,could be common cold.U could take Azithromycin 500mg once a day for 3days and levocetrizine 5 mg once at night for 7 days with plenty of steam inhalation and gargling with warm saline.Should settle in a week s time.
