Cold in a month old bsby
My baby boy is month old ...he is having cold from past 20 days ...I have been taken him to pediatrician for twice...doctor told me to use saline drops am using it nothing making differences and he gets severe cold only during night ..due to that he is having disturbed sleep ...am bf him on demand as it gives him to fight against cold ...plz let me know any other solution ..

Cold going for a long time Ts common at this age. Baby have small nostrils,nasal breather makes them more uncomfortable. Saline drops are right at this age as can't give many medicine. Avoid keeping baby directly under fan, keep baby warm,now a days saline nasal gel available you can try instead of saline drops so that gel will keep nostrils moist and will avoid drying of nose. Home ghee application in nostrils if possible can try to avoid dryness in nose.Certain cold medicine can be consider by pediatrician.

If his nose is getting blocked at night,  u don't really have many options other than using saline nasal drops, since he is so young. U can try using a humidifier in the room where he sleeps,  if the weather is dry. Also u can put 1-2 drops of eucalyptus oil on his clothes or bedding.  That may help prevent nasal blockage
