Cold and cough.
My baby has cough and cold since birth.He coughs very loudly 5-6 time at a stretch... But he was not spitting it out..we gave him ascoril syrup 0.3 ml today..and he brought out cough..should I continue cough syrup..baby is little cranky..but feeding well..I have heard up to 6 month no medicine should be given..is it ok to give ascoril 0.3 ml thrice a day  phenylephrine and chlorpheniramine syrup for cold 0.3 ml twice a day for 4 days ..will it have any side effect on baby?

Mam its best you consult a paediatrician. Dosage depends upon the babys bodyweight. Chlorpheniramine is known to cause drowsiness.
