Cold and cough in child
My baby having cold from few days... How can I make sure that his chest is free from congestion and only nose is blocked.
That means no cough... Only cold to my baby.
My baby is 5 month old.

If mild,avoid unnecessary medicine and just give steam inhalations for cold and cough and decongestant nasal drops for nasal block or increased cough on lying down.
Use paracetamol for fever if required.
If he has chest congestion,hell have wheezing sounds in the breathing and be breathlessness.
If that happens,consult your paediatrician for physical examination and treatment.
