Coitus post delivery
After two months of delivery is it safe to make physical relationship between couple like us. It was a normal delivery no other problems. Sometimes my wife complains about abdominal pain during foreplay.

Thank you for your question. If your wife had had her postnatal check and everything is OK there is no reason why you cannot commence intercourse. You will need to use contraception if you do not wish her to get pregnant as the ovary can start releasing an egg 6 weeks after delivery if she is not breast feeding day and night exclusively. Please consult your obstetrician regarding her pain if you have not already done so. They will also help with contraception. Best wishes
