I would advise you to visit a psychiatrist so that you can get expert help for your problem. Kindly don't worry about any social stigma, mental health is just as important as physical health.

Such things are quite common in a person suffering from anxiety or panic attack. Since there is no outlet in lift, plane, cinema halls to escape immediately people experience panic.  Chest pain is another very common symptom of panic. Sir you need not worry.  I have helped one recently to come out of such an experience. There are excellent medicines in Homeopathy for such nervous disorders.
Next Steps
Consult a nearby homeopath or me online. You can be very well helped online since you don't have any physical disorder.

Probably you are suffering from Agoraphobia. This is a kind of disorder due to anxiety complications. Although it is treatable. Please visit a local psychiatrist at earliest.
