Hi Sir, I was having acute pain and swelling in my left knee and was diagnosed to be synovitis swelling. I was suggested to undergo a surgery and I have underwent the surgery at Ganga hospital Coimbatore. However post surgery I was fine for 4 days and after 4 days the swelling re-appeared. In the biopsy results it wasn't clear on the root cause and was mentioned "chronic non specific synovitis - Rheumatoid?" Due to the swelling post surgery I was not able to walk for almost a month. Currently I am able to walk and the flexibility of the knee is around 130 degrees. Can it be because of Rheumatoid that I am feeling more pain when trying to bend beyond 130 degrees. I am worried that I might never be able to be normal as I used to be. Please help me understand my problem. Is Rheumatoid non curable disease?
Thanks,
Rakesh

Rheumatoid arthritis can be controlled with medications, although some patients become seronegative from seropositive after some years of medication.
130 flexion at knee is good range .
