My lips peel constantly in a cyclic manner. A crust forms over it which separates from the lip leaving redness and sometimes slight cracks. I have been suffering this condition for more than 3 years. When in contact with water, white scabs are formed and I peel it off. I have to lick my lips constantly to keep it moist as it gets very dry. I had visited a dermatologist before and he prescribed creams. But it didn't help. Then I came to know it is exfoliative cheletitis. How can I cure it?
