Chronic lacunar infarct
Hello doctor, Recently my mother aged 63 yrs, fell down and dashed her head against a wall. It was only a mild to moderate impact. However a CT scan was prescribed to know if everything is alright. The scan results mention two things 1. Chronic lacunar infarct in left lentiform nuclei 2. Prominent sulci fissures and basal cisterns Can these be considered as regular age-related anomalies? Or do they require a more detailed inspection? Thanks
