My mother in laws gfr level is below 15. Hemoglobin is 8.1 and urea is pretty high .. creatnine is 6.8 .. doctor suggests stage 5. She has no swelling, she is passing urine also regularly. Doctors have kept on medication. Is dialysis required? Or medication can treat this level of reports. Please help

Depends on symptoms and progression relate of blood parameters like blood urea, serum creatinine, electrolyte level and urine output Regular consultation with a nephrologist is advisable to avoid complications
