Chronic ITP and unexplained bruising
I was diagnosed with chronic ITP when I was 4, and have been in and out of hospitals my whole life with platelets less than 20,000. My main symptom was always excessive bleeding and petechiae. I haven't had any problems at a steady 80,000 for the past couple of years (I'm 23 now) but I recently was put on amoxicillin for two weeks and I've been having unexplained bruising for a few days, one of the bruises a couple inches long on my thigh. Should I be concerned if there are no other symptoms?

I would advise you to visit the ER, it is likely that your platelets have dropped down to a dangerous level. So kindly go to the ER and get evaluated at the earliest and take the necessary treatment for it. Drink pappaya leaf juice which will help increase the level of platelets.
