Chronic dandruff
I have very bad dandruff . It's been a very long time (around 2years)since I am facing this. It goes away when I change my shampoo but then comes back after some time. Also if I don't shampoo my hair for even 1day my scalp starts itching. And when I scratch my scalp, a white matter (flakes) starts coming. I suspect it to be fungi infection. Help

Dandruff can be treated with lotions and shampoo (not commercial ones). Some people do have more oily scalp which cause visible flakes which we cause dandruff. There are some other conditions also which can present like flaking of the scalp and have to be ruled out. Do not apply oil on scalp as it will increase the problem.
