Chronic constipation, ODS
I've been diagnosed with obstructed defecation syndrome. Due to this, I always feel bloated and can always hear gas rumbling in my stomach. I eat a high fibre vegetarian diet with vegetables and fruits, no dairy, no eggs, and limited gluten in case of chapati. Still, regardless of whatever I eat, I have to strain very badly during passing stool and I constantly sense gas stuck in the rectum. I have to manually evacuate stool everyday. What remedies should I follow? Can you advise if I should take any digestive enzymes or probiotics?

One important thing is position while defecating. Squatting is very very helpful. Although this may not be true for everyone but for majority. Your diet is good but still DISCUSS your diet in details to find out any shortcomings.
