I've been diagnosed with obstructed defecation syndrome. Due to this, I always feel bloated and can always hear gas rumbling in my stomach. I eat a high fibre vegetarian diet with vegetables and fruits, no dairy, no eggs, and limited gluten in case of chapati. Still, regardless of whatever I eat, I have to strain very badly during passing stool and I constantly sense gas stuck in the rectum. I have to manually evacuate stool everyday. What remedies should I follow? Can you advise if I should take any digestive enzymes or probiotics?

One important thing is position while defecating. Squatting is very very helpful. Although this may not be true for everyone but for majority.
