Chronic Bacterial prostatitis
I have CBP for over 3 months. My doctor prescribed bacstol , ciprofloxacin, Niftas, but No relief... my urine Test still shows 8-10 WBCs . I am afraid that what will happens if The Bacteria become resistance to all available antibiotics. Is there any other type of Medication In bacterial prostatitis... What are the Treatment options for chronic bacterial prostatitis besides Antibiotics??? Plz help... Thank you...

first of all the way which the diagnosis is made needs to be looked at. Many times it's the non bacterial chronic prostatitis which occurs commonly in your age needs to be diagnosed well. Many conservative measures like frequent ejaculation, sitz bath and chronic pain medications would be helpful. do a semen culture also. If facilities are available, do a expressed prostatic secretions analysis for bacteria. It is often done in a urology center
