Chronic bacterial prostatitis
I have been suffering from CBP from 3 years but took treatment of niftran and veltam once a day for 3 months and again taking same and its been 3 months again... No results so far.. Now my doctor suggested ceftum 250mg for 15 days 1 time a day.. 1 time is enough??? And ceftum is good for prostatitis??

I don’t want to comment on treatment given by other doctor. If you want a second opinion then please take proper consultation. Because Ceftum 250 mg once daily advised to you is a maintenance suppressive antibiotic dosage...can be varied from time to time and doctor to doctor depending up on urine culture and r/m reports and previous treatment as well as Rectal findings.
