My tsh level 6.38 and have triglycerides at 256 and ldl cholesterol at 51.2. I have started taking thyronorm 12.5. will my cholesterol decrease when TSH value will be normal?

6.38 tsh is subclinical hypothyroidism and whether u need medicines depend on if u have symptoms (hair fall, constipation, menstrual irregularity or trying to conceive) and your TPO levels.
Your LDL is normal only triglycerides are high so no need to start statins.
U r over weight and this needs attention try losing 6 kgs of weight in the next 3 months.
Hello.. Your TSH is 6.38 suggest subclinical Hypothyroidism with dyslipedemia.. Kindly try to get your TSH below 3..u need to increase your dose of thyronorm.. Also get your anti TPO test done.. Most of the times lipid abnormalities revert back once patient becomes euthyroid but it can also be part of metabolic syndrome as your BMI is on higher side.. Get down your wt at least 5 to 6 kg with diet and exercise...!!
