In February this year, I got a sudden attack of Ascending Cholangitis and got diagnosed with a common bile duct stone alongside some gallbladder stones. The treatment for Cholangitis was prompt and I responded immediately to the antibiotics following which ERCP and gallbladder removal was all done within 25 days. My concern is, will all these cause liver cirrhosis in the future?
