Hello , I understand ur concern.  Chocolate cysts ( endometrioma ) , are cysts which grow in the presence of estrogen and progestrone imbalance .hence navelon ( a hormonal contraception containing estrogen and progestrone ) is given to prevent the growth of the cyst and in the long run ( over 3-6 months ) can also cause skrinkage .using it for just a month can give relief to symptoms like pain but will not greatly affect the size of cyst.  Whether surgery is needed or not will be reassessed  after treatment and will depend on the size of cyst and associated symptoms .
Next Steps
- plz continue the medication as per ur doctor's orders .
Health Tips
- healthy lifestyle - diet - regular followup
