Fat free diet is not the best way to control cholesterol. Besides that balanced diet and regular exercise is the right choice. Avoid saturated fats like dalda, butter which is sold in market, red meat, dairy products, etc. U can take desi ghee 2-4 tsf daily as ur body needs it . Take high fibre diet whole grains, vegetables, fruits, row salads like carrots . U can take fish. Avoid excess intake of good fats also.Regular exercise for 1/2 an hr will be helpful.
