Hi,
As a psychologist, my advice is centered on prioritizing self-care, seeking professional support, and fostering a sense of empowerment and resilience. Firstly, it's crucial to recognize that healing is a journey and that it's okay to seek help and support along the way. Consider reaching out to a qualified therapist or counselor who specializes in trauma therapy and has experience working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Therapy can provide a safe and supportive space to process emotions, explore coping strategies, and work through trauma-related symptoms.
Additionally, practicing self-care activities such as mindfulness, relaxation techniques, exercise, and engaging in activities that bring joy and comfort can help manage stress and promote emotional well-being. Building a support network of trusted friends, family members, or support groups can also provide validation, understanding, and encouragement.
