Child - Mild Diarrhea

My son 1.2 years old is having mild Diarrhea since yesterday. It's not that much severe but there are 4-5 dirty diapers in a day. Please suggest a remedy. Thanks.

Passing stools 4-5 times per day is normal in children . If more than 5 episode, give 20ml of ors for each stool passed and give 5 ml of zinc syrup once daily.

Next Steps

don't stop feeding the baby while diarrhoea, give plenty of water or ors fluids except fruit juices ect.

Health Tips

watch for any signs of dehydration like dry mouth, dry eyes, sunken eyes or decrease skin elasticity.
