Child hiccups on laughing
My baby child is of 2 years. Since birth, She starts hiccups on laughing. Is this normal that can go with age or a matter of concern. Please suggest me. Thanks.

Hiccups for a short period is quite common. It is because of the diaphragm muscle irritation and subsequent sudden contraction. The usual causes are sudden bloating of the stomach by air or food . Laugh or crying can also induce hiccups , but it's nothing to be alarmed about.
