Child hiccups on laughing
Doctor Answers (1) on Child hiccups on laughing
Hiccups for a short period is quite common. It is because of the diaphragm muscle irritation and subsequent sudden contraction. The usual causes are sudden bloating of the stomach by air or food . Laugh or crying can also induce hiccups , but it's nothing to be alarmed about.
