My son is 7 month 12 days old. He had fever earlier this week and was prescribed antibiotic. Since yesterday he had potty atleast 5 times . he is crying very hard , his face is becoming red. We took him to the doctor . he has prescribed xymex , nor-metrogyl and decolic. Have given him the medicine once. he slept for an hour and again he is crying . I am worried

Enterogerminal respules half respule thrice daily. Zinc drops 0.5ml once daily for 2weeks. Cont breastfeeding. If any diaper rashes apply coccunut oik over duaper area and siloderm ointment also.

At this age,you need to do give 2 solid meals a day including curd and Banana in the diet in addition to whatever you prepare at home and 4 milk feeds including one top formula feed using a spoon and katori and rest breastfeeding.
Stop ALL meds.
Give ors after every loose motion if watery,and use paracetamol for fever and repeat every 4 hours if required.
He probably has stomach ache,if he's crying continuously,use Colimex or colicaid drop 12-15 drops.
If not improving OR accompanied by other symptoms like vomiting or abdominal distension or dullness and refusal to feed consult your paediatrician for physical examination and treatment.
