Chickenpox scars
Hi Dr., I had chickenpox 3 weeks ago and one of the scabs from my forehead fell off prematurely while sleeping. There is a 1.5mm deep pit and it's still pinkish. What can I do to heal it the best way? I was suggested Placentrex injection, intradermal at the site of lesion. Is this recommended?

Hi. Would need to examine you to suggest best therapy after assessing the depth of the scar. Don't worry, the scar can be dealt with, but needs time. I have personally n honestly no info on placentrex injection. However, creams, PRP injection, microneedling, etc are other scar modulation techniques I have found effective.
