Left sided chest pain can be due to any of the following reason: Considering your mother's age, past and current medical condition, any family history, the physician will have to do a complete general and physical examination of her with regards to vital parameters of body like Blood pressure, pulse rate, respiratory rate, and heart auscultation etc. Following can be the reason of chest pain: 1) Cardiac disease (heart disease) - If she has any other symptoms other than chest pain like difficult breathing at rest or exertion or excessive sweating or palpitation  (meaning increased heart rate which patient is able to hear herself) etc. Then we require to consult cardiologist and following test needs to be performed 1) ECG 2) Lipid profile- serum cholesterol, VLDL, HDL, triglycerides etc. 3) Cardiac enzymes marker- Serum troponin I, creatinine phosphokinase, LDH. 2) Gastric pain (retrostenal gastric or stomach pain) If your mother has this chest pain with respect to timing of food eating habits or pain is after eating meals or when she is fasting. Then it could be pain due to hyperacidity which we call (gastro-oesophageal reflux disease) 3) Muscular or joint pain- If your mother has pin point pain at bony junctions of ribs it could be costochronditis or osteochronditis. It can be easily dealt with medicine. So, it will be better if you show your mother to some MD speciality in internal medicine or MD medicine.

Hi dear Homoeopathy has a natural and permanent cure for muscular pains Homeopathy treats the person as a whole. It means that homeopathic treatment focuses on the patient as a person, as well as his pathological condition. The homeopathic medicines are selected after a full individualizing examination and case-analysis, which includes the medical history of the patient, physical and mental constitution, family history, presenting symptoms, underlying pathology, possible causative factors etc. A miasmatic tendency (predisposition/susceptibility) is also often taken into account for the treatment of chronic conditions. A homeopathy doctor tries to treat more than just the presenting symptoms. The focus is usually on what caused the disease condition? Why ‘this patient’ is sick ‘this way’. The disease diagnosis is important but in homeopathy, the cause of disease is not just probed to the level of bacteria and viruses. Other factors like mental, emotional and physical stress that could predispose a person to illness are also looked for. Now a days, even modern medicine also considers a large number of diseases as psychosomatic. The correct homeopathy remedy tries to correct this disease predisposition. The focus is not on curing the disease but to cure the person who is sick, to restore the health. If a disease pathology is not very advanced, homeopathy remedies do give a hope for cure but even in incurable cases, the quality of life can be greatly improved with homeopathic
