Chest Pain, Headaches, nausea, pregnant
I am 19 weeks pregnant and I have been suffering from sever nausea and vomiting (lost 5kg in a month), headaches, chest pain that is so severe it makes me cry out in agony and pain in the left arm whilst having chest pains. I have been in hospital for 4 days and they don't seem to know what is wrong with me. They have given me a chest x-ray and checked for blood clots in my legs. I have + protein and electrolytes in my urine. I am having a VQ scan tomorrow to rule out blood clots completely. But if it isn't a blood clot what could it be??

Speak to your doctor and ask whether it could be sickle cell crisis. It's an unlikely diagnosis if you don't have sickle cell anemia. Also, a 2D echo needs to be done
