Cheast pain and breathles
Hi one of my friend is having pain in left cheast since last week.. first two days she felt like not able to eat and vomiting..last two days she telling not able to breath properly.. sometimes at night she felt very difficult to breath.. please give her your suggestions

Chest pain hv variety of causes.it can arise from simple cause like gastritis to life threatening conditions like heart attack or aortic dissection..typicality of pain and associated symptoms should b taken into consideration..pain wht ur friends is seems to b atypical.. but need to evaluate to say its non cardiac..get and ECG, 2d echo done, and if required stress test.. most it look ro b gastritis or esophagitis..inflammation and collection in pleural cavity cause pain in chest..if it is increasing with respiration it can b related to musculoskeleton or pleura..
