Can cervical problem be a cause of tachycardia or high heart rate. My resting pulse rate stays around 80-90 per minute. At the time of waking up it is around 60, but goes up during the day to 90.
I was diagnosed with cervical spondylosis 6 years ago and also an orthopaedic said I have a cervical rib too.
Wanted to check if this could be a cause of high heart rate. Of late, the cervical flare-ups have increased for me, mainly manifesting as shoulder, chest, back of neck, trapezius muscle stiffness.
I had recently visited a cardiologist and did ecg and echo cardiogram and those were normal.
