Give antibiotic only after consultation and physical examination by pediatrician. Most of the cold are viral - which does not require antibiotic.

Cepodem is an antibiotic and is not typically recommended for treating common colds, coughs, or fevers caused by viral infections, as antibiotics don’t work against viruses. Overusing antibiotics can lead to resistance and may not be safe without proper medical guidance. If your child has a persistent fever, cough, or symptoms that seem more severe, it’s best to consult with a pediatrician. They can determine if an antibiotic like Cepodem is necessary or if other treatments are more appropriate based on your child’s symptoms.
