Central serous chorioretinopathy
I had CSCR in my right eye in August for which I took Eplerenone 25 mg twice a day for 2 month and Nepalact eye drop. This got resolved completely by November.
But again in December I had blurred vision in my other eye(left). I got CSCR again but this time another eye.
In January end this got increased in my left eye and also got introduced again in my right eye.
I even changed my lifestyle in January. I started sleeping on time , sleeping for 8 hours, started Gym , eating only healthy food . What else can I do?

CSR is a condition,in which fluid is collected around macular region of retina.It can be one or both the eyes.The exact cause is not known.It may resolve with in 4 to 8 weeks in some of the cases.If it doesn't subside one has to consult Retinal specialist.Anti allergic n diuretics may be of some use.

CSR is. complex problem and we are still unaware of its exact cause. The treatment there for is supportive primarily. Association with anxiety and hypertension have been noted though. Bilateral cases are documented in literature. It will be a good idea to rule out any inflammatory pathology including immuno inflammatory ones. Use Amsler grid to track changes in vision and self monitoring. I have had patients who maintain active life style and professional work by understanding and periodic counselling. Please also check that you are not taking steroids in any form including dermatological preparations.

Pl destress yourself. Pl do Yoga,meditation and pranayama. Pl consult ophthalmologist for further evaluation and treatment. Regular follow ups are must.
