My 9-year-old child lost a tooth more than two months ago, but the permanent tooth has still not come in. I wanted to know if it is okay to give Cavit Syrup to help with tooth growth. If yes, what would be the appropriate dosage for a 9-year-old?

Meet your Pedodontist.
Get X-ray done (called OPG)
Check for the permanent tooth at what stage it is. If need be doctor can do a small exposure for teeth to erupt. Depending upon which tooth and age do your child eruption time varies, so accordingly the dentist will decide whether to wait or do exposure surgery.
Next Steps
Do the OPG

May I know kindly which tooth the child has lost two month back and reason for loss of teeth?First of all visit to a nearby dentists clinic and do a radiograp (IOPA) to see the condition of permanent tooth bud.If it is in erupting stage then by exposing the soft tissue over it the permanent teeth can eruprt easily. As for different teeth the age of eruption is different.
Next Steps
DO the IOPA and share both IOPA and clinical pic of the patient
Don't give any syrup without doctors advice . Take you child to a dentist so that they will check for any remaining tooth present and guide you accordingly. As it is time for permanent dentition each tooth has its own eruption time
