Cause of Low platelet count
Hello doctor, I dignosed grade 3 fatty liver 3 month ago( fibroscan report cap value 307, stiffness 7.4kpa) n my Hepatologyist say only for exercise for 6 months n advice to check CBC n Lft for every month . Last month my CBC was ok n slightly elevated in sgpt n ot . This month everything is normal except my platelet count which is 88k n the last month value is 2.01 lakh . In between those month I started ayurvedic medicine for 10 to 15 days for fatty liver.n last yr I already suffered from dengue . should I worried about my TPC n what to do plz suggest? Or am I suffering from ITP ?

Hi   Please donot.use Ayurveda medicine as impurities in it may cause bone marrow suppression leading to low platelet count. Once do hemogram and consult online
