Cause for concern? Prediabetes
Hello, my doctor said I'm in the prediabetic range but didn't prescribe any medications. My hba1c level is 5.8 and fasting blood glucose is 78. What should I do to ensure I don't get diabetes. Please help.

You don't need medicines. You need life style modification. Avoid spicy and oily food. Avoid refined sugar. Drink plenty of water. Avoid alcohol. Reduce your caffeine intake. Avoid high cholesterol diet. Start some physical exercises on a regular basis. Consume green leafy vegetables and fruits. Avoid packed juice. Avoid carbonated drinks.
