Catracted eye pain
2 months back right eye we catracted.. yesterday suddenly it started to pain and water started to come and eye became red too..

Hello 1. This could be due to uveitis which is common after cataract surgery or it could be due to conjunctivitis Consult your opthalmologist

Hello there...., cataract itself won't causes any pain and redness as such.... Some of the causes of painful red eye are acute conjunctivitis, acute angle closure glaucoma, acute iridocyclitis.... Corneal disorders also causes painful red eye.. A red and painful eye can sometimes be caused by a particle, such as a piece of grit, getting in your eye..... Kindly consult your ophthalmologist for further evaluation and treatment....
