Anyone undergoing a procedure under general anaesthesia can have urinary retention ... That being said it also depends upon how long the surgery took ! In any case this is normal as they will remove the catheter as they think u r fit to go home

Depends on your recovery and stay in hospital sir and generally after surgery within 24 hrs they will remove it sir... not to worry much sir
