Cataract is clouding of the natural clear lens of the eye. It needs a surgical correction. Modern technology has made it possible to do this surgery without injections, without stitches. Drops are put in the eye to numb them and a surgeon then removes the ctaracats through a 2.2mm incision. A foldable lens is then implanted in the eye.
