Cataract operation: Post pain
My grandmother, she had her right eye cataract operation on 4th of February this year. Although the operation went well, but time and again she says there is a light pain in the operated eye. It keeps coming up from time to time. The medicines thay doctor prescribed are almost over. May I know if this is normal or We should get her consulted once again for the post operation issues?

Sometimes it occurs due to dryness after cataract surgery due to use corticosteroid for a month & something it occurs due to cataract in other eye causing stress on operated eye leading  to pain. For dryness you can use lubricating eye drops 4-5 times & if there is cataract in other eye ,you should go for correctivebpower or cataract surgery.
